TECO, a North-American body, has certificated THOMASI products as complying with PS 1-07 - Construction and Industrial Plywood Standard, which was developed by U.S. Department of Commerce Technology Administration and under Federal Regulation codes. This specification standard is managed by NIST - National Institute of Standards and Technology - that has a similar role as IPT (Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológias - Technological Research Institute) in the United States of America.

Thomasi products - plywood boards - referred to by specifications " 3/4 7ply 7layer MDO AMESCLA PLYWOOD" , "11/16 7ply 7layer MDO AMESCLA PLYWOOD" and "5/8 7ply 7layer MDO AMESCLA PLYWOOD" were tested according to PS 2 - Performance Standard requirements, also developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce Technology Administration managed by NIST. Material tested achieved good performance values as established by the Standard requirements.
